Business rates – request a refund

Before you complete the form

To tell us about an overpayment you will need to log into your My Lewisham account. If you don’t have one already, please click 'Log in and request a refund' below, then choose 'register' and follow the instructions to create your account.

How to complete the form

After you log in you can complete the form:

• It should take between five and 10 minutes to complete
• You will need to tell us your business rates account number and the bank details of the account where the refund should be sent.

What happens next

• We will send you an email confirmation.

• We will contact you in 10 working days to tell you our decision.

• We will contact you if we need more information.
